I’m looking out at a damp and dismal day so thought I would share a super moon photo from a couple of nights ago. As you do, I went out in my pj’s and slippers and tried a few different settings on my phone and got this. It’s a pity

This week it is Wirksworth Festival in Derbyshire and we went to visit the Art Trail on Sunday. It’s a wonderful walk around the town to see the many and varied artists displaying and selling their work in gardens and houses throughout the town

We have had a few sessions with wood chopping this week. First of all we chopped and sawed a load of seasoned wood ready for the winter. This all went into the new log store Richard built last week, although we have quite a bit more to do yet so it s

I don’t know about anyone else but a good nights sleep is a priority for me.

That is why we invested in deluxe hotel quality mattresses for White Heather Barn holiday cottage. We make sure that the mattresses are turned regularly and the matt
